Student travel product

The student travel product is part of the study grant. A student is entitled to a student travel product for the nominal duration of their study programme, plus one year. The student travel product allows the students to travel with public transport for free, or with a discount. A student will automatically receive a weekday subscription of their student travel product, which is exchangeable for a weekend subscription. The student travel product is a performance grant of € 89,07 per month (2017). The performance grant is a temporary loan, which will only be converted into a donation if the student manages to obtain their diploma within 10 years. A student may also opt to not utilize the student travel product.
